Regional Silviculture OER Series
Regional silviculture focuses on applied forest ecology and management in different states and provinces around North America and globally. Differences in ecological, economic, operational, and societal factors create great variability in how silviculture is practiced. Our goal is to leverage the existing silviculture instructors group within SAF to create this series of videos focused on contemporary silviculture across the different regions of North America and beyond. These are an open educational resource (OER) and are thus freely available to students and instructors.
